The Chartres Labyrinth is second only to the classical pattern in its universality and appreciation. While it looks intimidating to construct, Robert makes the process accessible by taking it one step at a time. Extremely elegant in its symmetry and symbolism, the Chartres labyrinth is more popular now than it was eight hundred years ago.
Robert D. Ferré worked for 16 years as a full time labyrinth builder, designer, consultant, lecturer, editor and author. His credentials are extensive. Now, in retirement, he is reissuing his out-of-print books, working on a three-volume set summarizing his life's work, and writing on other topics. Labyrinth Enterprises, the company Robert founded in 1995, is still in full operation. Robert continues to consult.
